Spotlight on the Triumph Speed Triple R

SPEED_STUDIO01

The all-new Triumph Speed Triple R is the latest incarnation of Triumph’s iconic naked roadster. The inline three-cylinder 1050cc engine delivers stacks of full range torque, smooth midrange and tons of hard-charging peak performance.

The new Speed Triple R has a lighter exhaust system which enables a 70% improvement in airflow, new headers and silencers developed to increase the characteristic triple cylinder roar.  The single-sided swingarm adds to the aggressive look of the bike.  2 colour options are available on the Speed Triple R: Crystal White or Matt Graphite.

OTHER FEATURES

The Speed Triple R features five riding modes – Rain, Road, Sport, Track and a Rider-configurable mode. Each mode varies throttle response, ABS settings and traction control levels. Modes can be quickly altered via new handlebar switchgear during riding.

The Speed Triple R comes with ABS, Traction Control, LED indicators, ride-by-wire throttle, Showa suspension front and rear, radial Brembo monobloc calipers (gripping 320mm discs), and Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa tyres on light, cast aluminium wheels.

Exclusive to the new Speed Triple R, the wide alloy bars are held by a pair of clamps and risers exquisitely machined from a solid aluminium billet. The Speed Triple R is fitted with a lightweight carbon fibre front mudguard and a pair of carbon fibre tank infill panels, both for high-performance style and to save weight.

The Speed Triple R comes with a machined aluminium rear wheel finisher, bar-end mirrors, radiator cowls, bellypan, and a red colour-coded theme across the bike to highlight its extra special appeal. This includes red stitching on the rider and pillion seats, red wheel pin stripes, red-painted subframe and red side cowls.
