One of our customers, David Gill, is a regular visitor to the Triumph Tridays event in Austria. Here’s some photos from his travels.
David has been to Tridays 3 times, including his first visit in 2011. A Triumph Rocket owner, he always rides there with a group of Rocket riders – Richard and Jan Yeardley from Sheffield (Rocket with trailer fitted), Nigel and Denise Corby from Halifax, Shaun and Sandra Wheatcroft from Bradford (2004 black Rocket with flame paintwork) and Frank with his 2004 Rcoket with Pink Floyd paintwork (aka ‘Pinkey’).
The meeting point is the Hook of Holland, from which they ride to TriDays in 3 days covering around 700 miles to spend 5 days in Newchurch, Austria, to ride the local rides and enjoy the TriDays event itself.
On the last day of TriDays, the group always see Kevin Carmichael’s stunt show. At the last event, he didn’t use his Rocket 3 as unfortunately the track was too wet. However, shortly afterwards the show had ended, Kevin was chatting to the group and to their surprise he fired up the Rocket and put on an impromtu display.
David says ‘At TriDays 2014, Kevin’s custom Scrambler – No.31 – made it’s first appearance and I was lucky enough to grab some photos’.
